Benefit Analysis

The McLane Agency created and copyrighted a retirement worksheet they call a Benefit Analysis. It is designed to be a valuable tool in determining income options while planning for retirement.
There are a few simple steps for acquiring a Benefit Analysis. If you are eligible for retirement and would like a complimentary analysis, please contact us. Typically, your analysis should be prepared and sent to you in less than a week.
To receive a benefit analysis you will be asked to include the following information to your represenative:
- Two current paycheck stubs, not from the same time of the month. Firefighters see note below.
- Value of your Deferred Comp. (457) and 401K, and any other investments you may have.
- Value of your sick and vacation time if sellback is permitted at retirement.
- If you are a tobacco user. This is related to life insurance insurability.
- A phone number where TMA might reach you during the day for a 3 way call to your retirement system.
NOTE: Firefighters typically work irregular days each month, so please provide us with 6 check stubs if possible. This allows us to provide you with a more accurate benefit analysis.
Once you have your analysis, you may wish to schedule an appointment to discuss the specifics with your representative.
