Benefit Analysis

The McLane Agency created and copyrighted a retirement worksheet they call a Benefit Analysis. It is designed to be a valuable tool in determining income options while planning for retirement.

There are a few simple steps for acquiring a Benefit Analysis. If you are eligible for retirement and would like a complimentary analysis, please contact us.  Typically, your analysis should be prepared and sent to you in less than a week.

To receive a benefit analysis you will be asked to include the following information to your represenative:

  1. Two current paycheck stubs, not from the same time of the month. Firefighters see note below.
  2. Value of your Deferred Comp. (457) and 401K, and any other investments you may have.
  3. Value of your sick and vacation time if sellback is permitted at retirement.
  4. If you are a tobacco user. This is related to life insurance insurability.
  5. A phone number where TMA might reach you during the day for a 3 way call to your retirement system.

NOTE: Firefighters typically work irregular days each month, so please provide us with 6 check stubs if possible. This allows us to provide you with a more accurate benefit analysis.

Once you have your analysis, you may wish to schedule an appointment to discuss the specifics with your representative.
